Employee Shift: 4 on 4 off 12 hours shifts days & nights

About the Role

We are looking for a Site Security Guard for our Llantarnum site. Main responsibilities include:

  • Checking and controlling access / egress to site
  • Welcoming visitors, signing them in and ensuring they understand site rules
  • Manage visitor car parking
  • Manage weighbridge activities
  • Watching closed-circuit television (CCTV) and controlling footage
  • Walking around the site, checking security and looking out for problems
  • Searching cars and employees as required
  • Guards to be trained as First Aiders to deal with emergency cover if other first aiders unavailable
  • Manage site keys and the locking of office doors
  • Receiving and dealing with incoming telephone calls
  • Making tannoy message announcements as required
  • Dealing with emergencies (fire)
  • Writing reports on site incidents
