About the Role
We are looking for a Site Security Guard for our Llantarnum site. Main responsibilities include:
- Checking and controlling access / egress to site
- Welcoming visitors, signing them in and ensuring they understand site rules
- Manage visitor car parking
- Manage weighbridge activities
- Watching closed-circuit television (CCTV) and controlling footage
- Walking around the site, checking security and looking out for problems
- Searching cars and employees as required
- Guards to be trained as First Aiders to deal with emergency cover if other first aiders unavailable
- Manage site keys and the locking of office doors
- Receiving and dealing with incoming telephone calls
- Making tannoy message announcements as required
- Dealing with emergencies (fire)
- Writing reports on site incidents
