- Monday - Wednesday: 8am - 5pm
- Thursday & Friday: 8am - 6pm
- Saturday: 8am - 1pm
- Sunday: 10am - 1pm
Float Tellers are an integral part of Rockland Trust's branch operations, in a float position, you have the opportunity to meet more diverse members of your company's staff and work alongside a variety of managers. What You’ll Do:
- Make the first impression to our customers as they enter the branch, warmly greeting them and guiding them to the colleague who can best support their needs.
- Engage in customer support, exhibiting efficient, effective, and courteous customer service in person and via telephone.
- Serve customers by supplying them with information on the Rockland Trust banking products best suited to their individual needs.
- Ensure that customers feel cared for as you perform duties that require a high level of accuracy, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash checking, and other financial transactions.
- Make decisions alongside immediate supervisor, which may become more extensive as position gains in knowledge and experience.
- Work closely with our training team and your branch team to learn about these responsibilities, and to complete Rockland Trust's Teller Training.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to easily travel between branches as needed.
- Comfortable using technology.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
- Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members.
- Ability to work within normal office requirements, with periods of standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate.
