Role Overview: As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be experienced in food preparation and catering, adhering to Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations. You will monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are immaculately clean, including washing up crockery and utensils when required.

About You:

  • Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Act as a link between the main kitchen and residents.
  • Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and keeping preparation areas clean and tidy.
  • Genuine interest in working in a care home environment.
  • Previous experience in a care home is desirable but not essential.
  • Organized and committed approach.
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts.
