We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Warehouse team in our Head Office in Rackheath. This role will be working Monday to Friday, with the flexibility of working some weekends when required. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy and efficiency, we want to hear from you!
What we are looking for:- Manage and dispatch daily orders
- Operating Kardex (our automated storage solution)
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile via our digital system so that it can be located quickly
- Liaise with suppliers and transport companies
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand and truck
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage or distribution
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space β using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods
- Moving and rearranging stock to ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing
- Organising all packed goods and loading onto delivery vehicles
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area will also be part of the daily routine
- Assist other areas in the warehouse as and when required
- Following workplace health and safety rules will be essential
