What you will focus on

  • Conducting initial assessments and treatment sessions for clients in-clinic.
  • Creating, building, and maintaining effective communication & connections with a multidisciplinary team, clients, employers, referral sources, family members, and other massage therapists.
  • Documenting accurate and timely charts including relevant assessment, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Completing reports regarding client progress as required by funders.
  • Maintaining and updating knowledge in Massage Therapy through continuing education opportunities, reviewing recent literature, and connecting with other professionals.
  • Providing a calm and empathetic demeanor in difficult situations.
  • Optimizing and maximizing your daily schedule.
  • Abiding by all safety regulations.

What you bring

  • Current practicing registration with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC).
  • Graduation from a massage therapy educational program recognized by CMTBC.
  • Experience working with individuals with neurological conditions is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports and other correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate using different styles and methods to suit individual clients and situations.
