We seek a new position to help Lloyd's quantify and respond to large and reputational risk events, both current and emerging. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert, providing trusted advice to the Director of Claims, leading technical claims aspects, and serving as the first escalation point for claims matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing a large loss protocol:
- Stipulates triggers for large and sensitive events
- Coordinates contributions from Legal, Reserving, Exposure Management, Underwriting, etc.
- Uses an assumption-based approach to predict outcomes
- Communicates key messages effectively to relevant audiences
- Inform decision-making on strategy, business planning, new entrants, and products
- Overlay macroeconomic, political, and climatic influences
- Develop intelligence streams to identify risks
- Provide regular reports through deep dive papers and reporting packs
- Monitor market response to events, vendor performance, and lessons learned
