THE ROLE Working with the HR Director, Head of Employee Relations and Diversity, and the wider HR team, this role plays a key part in employee engagement, employee relations, and organisational development. It supports British Land’s strategy by ensuring consistent and progressive HR practices aligned with our values, fostering a positive culture and enabling people to thrive. WHAT YOU’LL DO Build strong consultative relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary processes, TUPE and settlement agreements, in alignment with ACAS and UK employment law. Lead or support organisational change and development projects. Coordinate and deliver employee engagement surveys and analyse results to develop action plans. Work with the wider HR team to ensure policies and processes are up to date and implemented consistently. Draft accurate documentation including letters, meeting scripts and ELI information. Collaborate on initiatives related to diversity & inclusion and social mobility. Support HR-led development strategies to improve organisational capability and retention. ABOUT YOU Extensive experience in employee relations within a multi-site organisation. Strong, applied knowledge of UK employment law. CIPD Level 7 Qualification or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels with strong attention to detail. Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and listening skills. Adaptable, empathetic, and proactive with a solution-focused mindset.
