About this role
The FIS Energy Sales team is looking for an experienced Sales professional to join its team to focus on expanding the FIS Energy solutions into the UK and Nordic Markets. The Energy Sales team is based in London with team members in Italy, Germany and France. The energy market is changing rapidly, and FIS and its solutions are well placed to adapt to this change through its breadth of offerings and scale.
What you will be doing
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers, reach out to new leads, and nurture relationships to create a strong sales pipeline.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs and business objectives to offer tailored solutions that address their unique challenges and drive tangible results.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our solutions.
- Negotiation and Closing: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders (legal, commercial team) to overcome objections, negotiate terms, and secure successful deals.
- Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to seize new business opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Log activities in CRM system together with accurate forecasts.
- Collaboration: Connect with peers and internal colleagues to better understand the wider FIS proposition and offerings to further expand accounts.
What you bring
- Enterprise software sales experience within the Capital Markets or Energy industries.
- Proven sales track record leading & closing of multi $Million deals with a sound sales methodology.
- Articulate & concise communicator with excellent English.
- Strong Leader with Client Management skills.
- Highly focused on quality and attention to detail when presenting and writing proposals.
Added bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of the Energy & Commodities markets, and key players within the region.
- Understanding of US GAAP Accounting & Revenue Recognition and Contracting.
- Other European language skills.
