Overall Aim of the Job: To ensure all products are successfully and efficiently picked and dispatched on time, working collaboratively with other dispatch staff in a safe and effective manner.
Main Tasks:
- Liaise with Dispatch Management regarding daily orders.
- Ensure orders are picked accurately, on time, and correctly documented.
- Check products are correctly dated and at the correct temperature.
- Verify that the quality of dispatched products meets standards and report any issues to the Dispatch Assistant Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness of chill and cold stores throughout the day.
- Follow all company policies as outlined in the Company Handbook.
- Work positively and professionally with staff and customers.
- Conduct daily inspections on Forklift, Powered Pallet Truck, and Pivot Steer Trucks, complying with safety regulations for loading and unloading.
- Adhere to safe working systems and company health & safety policies.
- Perform other duties related to poultry processing as required.
Hours: 4 On 4 Off shifts, days available, from 07:00 to 19:45. Flexibility around shift times is available upon inquiry. Christmas Production Work 6 days per week during the Christmas production period.
Salary: From £13.05 per hour during probation, then £13.40 per hour.
Requirements: Forklift and pallet truck licences are required, but training can be provided.
