Main responsibilities:
- Operate the timber treatment line
- Oversee the correct use of the timber treatment, pressurised tank and feed systems
- Ensuring safe loading and unloading of the line
- Ensuring Health and Safety rules are always abided to
- Monitor the treatment process and adjust the parameters when needed
- Keeping good clear records of production batches, treatment usage and calibration checks
- Ensuring you work within the given tolerances and quality of finished goods
- Maintaining general cleanliness of the line environment at all times
- Carry out basic PPM routines and daily line/maintenance checks
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in running timber treatment line
- NVQ level 1 and 2 in timber treatment preferable
- A good standard of Sideloader and Counter balance experience
- The ability to problem solve and fault find
- Experience in a similar role and machines
- Strong awareness of Health and Safety
- High levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent attention to detail is essential
- Effective communication skills with a good working knowledge of computers
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast paced environment
