Main responsibilities:

  • Operate the timber treatment line
  • Oversee the correct use of the timber treatment, pressurised tank and feed systems
  • Ensuring safe loading and unloading of the line
  • Ensuring Health and Safety rules are always abided to
  • Monitor the treatment process and adjust the parameters when needed
  • Keeping good clear records of production batches, treatment usage and calibration checks
  • Ensuring you work within the given tolerances and quality of finished goods
  • Maintaining general cleanliness of the line environment at all times
  • Carry out basic PPM routines and daily line/maintenance checks

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in running timber treatment line
  • NVQ level 1 and 2 in timber treatment preferable
  • A good standard of Sideloader and Counter balance experience
  • The ability to problem solve and fault find
  • Experience in a similar role and machines
  • Strong awareness of Health and Safety
  • High levels of accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential
  • Effective communication skills with a good working knowledge of computers
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast paced environment

We are offering a permanent contract, working 40-hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm.
