Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to look after a large family home near Boston Spa. This will be a great role for someone who likes to offer a supporting role to a family and who is happy to take care of all of the cleaning, housekeeping and also help with some childcare.
The child boards one night per week but there will be occasions when the Housekeeper will be required to assist with babysitting, overnight stays and also dog sitting. Housekeeping and cleaning will be mainly at the family home but you would also be asked to spend a couple of mornings per week working for another family member who lives nearby.
Duties will include:
- Hands on cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- General housekeeping and keeping the home running smoothly
- Shopping and running errands
- Occasional babysitting / overnight stays / dog sitting
- Occasional help with school pickups
- Some basic occasional cooking
Driver essential. Excellent references and Enhanced DBS check required. Start as soon as they find the right person. Full-time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday - flexible on the exact hours.
£30,000 to £35,000 GPA.
