We are seeking an experienced Financial Services, Regulatory Associate Director to join RSM UK's consulting team. Our team delivers core solutions including business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance support, and risk governance, tailored to meet our clients' unique needs and challenges. The role involves leading and managing a team alongside Partners and Directors, supporting business development activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality advisory services. You will also be responsible for team development, client relationship building, and contributing to the growth of our regulatory practice within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a Financial Services team to deliver timely, high-quality advisory services in line with firm standards.
- Lead client portfolios and approve strategic documentation supported by service delivery proposals.
- Participate in and lead business development efforts, including proposals and thought leadership.
- Ensure effective project delivery within budget and time constraints, addressing issues proactively.
- Oversee team utilization and planning to optimize profitability.
- Monitor work quality through senior review processes.
- Engage in client billing processes and address potential billing issues.
- Handle day-to-day team management, including performance feedback, recruitment, and welfare.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong regulatory experience with a proven track record.
- Ambitious, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience in business development, tender processes, and proposition design.
- Knowledge of the financial services market and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to add value and drive change.
