Role Summary: The role involves supporting our catering team by washing and cleaning pots and preparing vegetables for the coffee shop and our inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- To wash pots and keep pot washing area clean and tidy
- General cleaning duties
- To ensure the tables and surrounding area are clean and tidy
- To load and unload a dishwasher
- To provide a prompt, pleasant and courteous service
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety rules
- Ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment

Training Requirements: As a Volunteer Kitchen Porter you will complete the following training:
- Teesside Hospice mandatory training
- Volunteer induction training
- Any other training identified as appropriate to the role
Support And Supervision: Your first line of support and for any enquiries will be your Line Manager to support you in your role.
Communications: Your Line Manager will regularly provide you with any information updates, training opportunities and upcoming events appropriate to your role. You will be provided with a Teesside Hospice volunteer badge.
