GoodOaks Epsom & Reigate is currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our growing home care business. The Senior Care Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care by assisting the Registered Manager with community assessments, supervisions, and reviews.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within our expanding business, which is committed to providing superior home care throughout North Surrey. Initially, the role will involve completing Care Visits, but as our service expands, it will gradually transition into a Team Leader position.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Care Assistant include:
- Ensuring GoodOaks Epsom and Reigate provides a continuous and reliable service by producing weekly rotas.
- Assisting the Registered Manager with daily troubleshooting, including managing staff illnesses or absences, reallocating calls, and, when necessary, canceling care visits.
- Supporting the Registered Manager with care scheduling to maintain adequate capacity for continuous care provision.
- Effective communication with clients and care professionals.
- Fostering a positive team morale.
- Assisting with the recruitment, induction, and training of care professionals and other team members.
