This role offers an opportunity for hands-on learning and skill development in a critical field within the aerospace sector. We are looking for two Apprentices to train in all aspects of manufacturing. You will learn all manufacturing processes within our Nasmyth Henton site and be expected to train in all sections to gain knowledge and experience, progressing towards becoming a fully skilled and competent CNC Machinist.

You will start on manual machines (milling, turning, grinding, fitting (bench), and vertical boring). You will spend time in the Engineering Department to understand how parts are engineered before being launched to the manufacturing side of the business. You will then progress onto CNC machines as you gain more knowledge and experience. The plan typically involves spending 3 months in each section shadowing skilled Operators/Trainers to gain knowledge and experience. Based on your strengths and interests, you will be placed in relevant sections/machines to start your manufacturing journey within the Manufacturing Department.
