Letly is an AI-Native vertical fintech platform focussed on the rental housing market. We are automating rental workflows end-to-end and building a fintech platform underneath to manage the trillions of dollars spent on rent globally. We recently closed a venture funding round and are hiring a compliance leader to run and spearhead our UK Electronic Money Institution (EMI) application, build our compliance operating model, and shape Letly's risk culture.

Apply if:

  • You’ve worked in compliance at an EMI or Payment Institution; working on an EMI or API application with the FCA is a plus.
  • You understand the UK EMI regulations, Payment Services Regulations, and the FCA’s approach under those regimes.
  • You can translate complex rules into scalable product and process requirements.
  • You want to work in a high-ownership environment – setting policy, building controls, and partnering closely with engineering and operations.

You Will:

  • Drive the end-to-end FCA submission and act as the point-person for our consultants and law firms.
  • As MLRO, own the firm’s AML/CFT program – maintaining policy, filing reports, conducting internal investigations, and liaising with the FCA.
  • Architect Letly's compliance core – combining policy, controls, monitoring, reporting, and issue management.
  • Work with Product & Engineering to codify regulatory rules into our modular backend compliance engine.
  • Be a key part of a high-performance, engineering and product-led company with a high degree of autonomy and impact.
