The Regional Growth team manages the commercial output of our mid-market restaurant partners across the five nations of the U.K. and Ireland, including our dark kitchen offering, Editions, and the Chinese Category Team. Each region has its own complexities and opportunities, and our teams focus on offering the best selection to customers and growth opportunities to restaurants.
We seek a City Manager to join our South England team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners in Oxford, Newbury, and Basingstoke, enhancing our value proposition and identifying growth opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship building and data-driven insights. You will report to the Regional Manager for South England and be based in London.
What you’ll do:
- Become the local expert for Oxford, Newbury, and Basingstoke, understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo in the area.
- Utilize data to enhance our customer offerings neighborhood by neighborhood.
- Manage top restaurant partners, lead negotiations, and optimize partner performance for growth.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to support local hero brands’ growth.
- Recruit and onboard new popular local restaurants, setting them up for success.
- Lead local Business Development Managers, providing coaching, prioritization, and deal-making support.
- Develop local sales strategies, focusing on closing value gaps and key areas.
- Enhance our local customer experience by improving restaurant selection, operations, and strategic planning.
- Maximize marketing opportunities through restaurant participation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account/relationship management, sales, or strategy roles.
- Results-oriented with a focus on targets.
- Ability to analyze data related to restaurant and city performance to identify improvements.
- Flexible working pattern: 2-3 days in the field and 2-3 days remote or in the office.
- Preferably hold a UK driving license and have access to a car.
