Opportunity in Multiple Children & Youth Services in Bridgwater and Taunton. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team of Child Support Workers. As a Child Support Worker, you will be expected to support within Child services covering ad hoc shifts. We are looking for Thursday afternoons to support a Youth Group, as well as availability to cover AD-HOC shifts at Children’s Homes.

About you:

  • A successful candidate will have experience working within the care sector, working with vulnerable children with complex needs.
  • You must be able to show compassion and have excellent communication skills to provide the high level of care required.

Pay: Starts from £12.21 - £12.50 per hour PAYE + Holiday Pay

Requirements for you as a Child Support Worker:

  • Experience within social care - more than 6 months.
  • Experience in a role with children.
  • Enhanced Child and Adults DBS on the update service.
  • Driving license and own car preferable due to location of services.

Shift Times for you as a Support Worker:

  • Thursday Afternoon 6pm - 8.30pm
  • Monday - Sunday Ad-Hoc Shifts.
  • Part Time available.
  • Flexible Hours.
