We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Development (PD) Facilitator to join our Student Services team. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing the College PD Strategy, supporting the success of individual learners and groups by delivering engaging and impactful PD sessions. This role involves planning, developing, and contributing to the creation of content for PD group sessions.

We are recruiting to two vacancies:

  • Vacancy 1: Full time (35.5 hours per week), permanent - £26,869 - £29,296
  • Vacancy 2: Fixed term, up to 12 months, working 4 days per week - days to be determined. The actual salary range for the part time role is £21,949.32 - £24,57.18 per annum. While this vacancy is fixed term, there may be future opportunities to move into a permanent role with DN Colleges.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience working with learners in a teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or coaching role
  • Commitment to a customer-focused and learner-centred experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • GCSE English & Maths, grade C/4 or above
  • A teaching qualification is desirable

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the PD curriculum to groups of learners, developing their knowledge and skills beyond the technical and vocational
  • Plan, develop, and review the PD Curriculum/Scheme of Learning/Resources as part of the PD Team
  • Ensure timetabled PD group sessions stretch and challenge learners to reach their full potential
