Early Years Practitioner required – Stoke-on-Trent Academics are looking for passionate early years professionals dedicated to providing exceptional early years education and care. We are currently seeking Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioners to join us on a supply basis. Our primary schools are based across North staffordshire and our requirements will vary from daily, short and long term possible permanent positions As a Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old. You will work collaboratively with a schools team to create engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your responsibilities will include: Providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children. Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of each child. Observing and assessing children’s progress and maintaining accurate records. Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures at all times. Job Requirements: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate. A passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of the EYFS framework and understanding of child development. Previous experience working in an early years setting is desirable but not essential. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate.
