We are seeking a friendly, attentive Restaurant Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You’ll take orders, make menu recommendations, deliver food and beverages, and assist with any customer needs. The ideal candidate is personable, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer any questions about the menu items and specials.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take customer orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen staff.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu, including daily specials and ingredients, to make recommendations and address dietary restrictions.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Deliver orders promptly, ensuring all items are presented neatly and correctly.
  • Upselling and Recommendations: Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or beverages, to enhance the dining experience.
  • Table Management: Regularly check on guests, refill drinks, and attend to any additional requests.
  • Billing and Payment: Prepare and present bills, process payments, and return change or receipts.
  • Cleanliness: Keep tables, chairs, and service areas clean and organized, including resetting tables for the next guests.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bussers, and other servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
