We are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with this successful and value-led business in helping them find a talented and experienced Wales-based B2B Marketing Executive. Reporting to a supportive Event Marketing Manager, you will play an instrumental part in actively marketing business services, helping reach a wider and diverse target audience, and supporting high-growth businesses for a more prosperous Wales. You will demonstrate a proactive, ‘can-do’ approach to your work and possess an analytical, result-oriented mindset. Resilient by nature, you will be a strong communicator and thrive in a busy, results-driven marketing environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a talented marketing professional to take ownership of their own projects and campaigns; it is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys being busy and being part of a capable and experienced team.

The job:
  • Strategically plan, budget, deliver and evaluate online and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Translate marketing briefs into comprehensive and effective campaigns.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities meet the brand and tone requirements.
  • Use innovative tactics, lead generation tools, and multiple communication channels to drive marketing activities.
  • Design high-quality and compelling campaign assets to support promotion such as website copy, event pages, emails, social media content, videos, partner toolkits, flyers, brochures etc. - liaising with external suppliers as required.
  • Produce high-quality materials to showcase expertise and successes e.g., case studies, quotes, blogs, articles and highlight reels.
  • Understand the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion in marketing.
  • Track and analyse campaign results, proactively suggesting changes, new channels, tools, and best practices to improve performance.
  • Effectively use the CRM and marketing automation system (Salesforce and Pardot) to build, test and schedule email marketing campaigns within the agreed deadlines.
  • Plan, design, and manage social media and PPC campaigns.
The person specification:
  • At least 2 years’ B2B marketing and communications experience (email marketing, copywriting, social media, partners marketing).
  • Ideally have at least 2 years’ experience using CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Strong email marketing and audience segmentation experience.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in tracking and producing reports of campaign results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proven track record of dealing with a wide range of high-profile stakeholders and clients.
  • Proven track record of managing client brands and ensuring brand compliance.
  • Awareness of equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic Photoshop/InDesign is advantageous.
  • Robust and resilient – will have the ability to cope and deliver under pressure.
Salary & benefits:
  • Salary is up to £35,000 pa depending on experience.
  • Fully remote role (you must be based in Wales).
  • 25 days annual leave with the potential of increasing annually up to 30.
