We have a fantastic opportunity for a new apprentice to join our Production department as a Cell Leader Apprentice. The successful candidate will be trained and mentored to eventually become an effective leader of their own.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and assist in the day to day running of the cell ensuring and maintaining the operational requirement in line with customer requirements and on time delivery schedule. This will include tracking product/parts and instigating positive improvements.
- Learn, understand, prioritise and distribute the Cells workload to ensure an efficient workflow, whilst monitoring and providing vital resources.
- Maintain high level of visibility and daily communication with work colleagues. This will include understanding how to allocate operatives annual holidays.
- Help and support employees to succeed through performance management, coaching, regular feedback and team development.
The apprenticeship programme will provide an individual with full training both internally and externally. This is a work-based apprenticeship including work-based assessments and online learning. The candidate must be willing to travel and attend college approximately once per month to gain essential knowledge and experience to complete the full apprenticeship programme eventually leading to attaining a Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship.
Job Requirements:
Entry requirements: Candidates should be self-motivated and have at least GCSE grades 4-9 or equivalent in Maths and English.
Working hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week
