We have an excellent opportunity for both a Team Leader and a Senior Care Assistant to cover night shifts at a luxury care home.

Our client is a top-rated care home offering luxurious, spacious bedrooms across three communities along with bright, airy lounges, dining rooms and plenty of outdoor access via terraces and an internal courtyard. The care home is both a lively and stimulating community and a peaceful, private place to live – the best of both worlds.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the care team throughout the night, ensuring effective handovers, providing guidance, and being a positive role model.
  • Manage night rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels and appropriate skill mix.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the home management team, addressing concerns promptly.
  • Conduct and lead nightly team meetings, providing feedback and support to staff.
  • Oversee medication management, including the receipt and administration of medications.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in elderly and dementia care.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
  • Knowledge of medication management and handling incoming medication.
