Our client is a leading reinsurance business in search of a Senior Compliance Analyst to manage and delegate conduct risk matters for the Legal and Compliance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform product risk assessments for the syndicate’s portfolio.
  • Monitor key regulatory developments relating to Conduct Risk and manage any impact on the syndicate.
  • Maintain and enhance the Conduct Risk Framework.
  • Develop and enhance Conduct Risk Management Information.
  • Handle complaints for the syndicate.
  • Provide training on Conduct Risk to the business and Senior Management.
  • Act as a Customer Champion and consider customer outcomes in collaboration with Underwriting, Claims, Legal, and other functions.
  • Prepare the Annual Consumer Duty report for the Board.
  • Manage Lloyd’s Insurance Company Secondee processes for the syndicate.
  • Serve as Secretary to the Customer Review Committee, maintaining papers and minutes.
  • Work closely with the Delegated Authority team, managing queries and referrals relating to Conduct Risk, the Insurance Distribution Directive, Licensing, and binding authorities.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and Lloyd’s Insurance Company requirements relating to Conduct Risk and the Consumer Duty with ideally 2-4 years experience (will consider someone more senior).
  • Extensive experience with binding authorities and delegated claims administrators.
  • Significant experience within a Compliance or Conduct Risk team in a Managing Agent or UK insurer.
