Permanent Full Time Nanny
Salary: £11 nph

Days/ Hours required: Monday – Friday, 7am – 7pm (shared charge) (12pm – 2pm break)

Nanny required for care of three children, two bright, playful girls (six and nearly five) and one new-born boy due at the end of March 2019. The position is predominantly a sole charge role, though the mother works from home and will participate in the care of the new-born. The role requires 50 hours per week. Working hours are 07.00 to 19.00, Monday – Friday, with a two hour break (generally 12.00 – 14.00) during the day. Because of the young baby, the family is looking for someone who can be flexible about their working hours depending on the family’s need. A full driver’s licence and confident driving are essential to success as a candidate. A family vehicle will be provided for work duties.
The family home is situated in Muswell Hill, north London close to transport links at Highgate and Finsbury Park underground stations, as well as Alexandra Palace over ground station. Nearby amenities include Alexandra Palace Park, Queens Wood and Highgate Wood, gyms, Pilates & yoga studios, Everyman Cinema, and numerous shops and restaurants.
Both girls are active and thrive on learning new things. The family are looking for an engaged, active, caring nanny with a can-do attitude.
Duties to include:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children
- Communicating with parents on all aspects of the care of the children
- Supporting bathing, dressing and toileting
- Changing diapers of the new-born boy
- Washing, folding and putting away household laundry
- Planning and preparing well-balanced, nutritious meals, feeding the children, and cleaning up after them
- Driving the two girls to and from school and taking them to after-school activities
- Indoor and outdoor play
- Educational activities and crafts
- Reading with the children
- Supporting daily homework
- Tidying bedrooms and play spaces
- Caring for unwell children and administering medicine with consent, if necessary
- Light housekeeping
- Picking up dry cleaning and running errands when needed
