Summary
Collect donated food for our homeless hostel.

Detailed description

Can you:

  • Drive your own vehicle
  • Spare one hour per week
  • Lift crates of groceries

We are looking for someone to collect food donations from Greggs, Orchard Shopping Centre, Taunton TA1 3TP on Sunday afternoons at closing time 4pm. Are you able to take on this collection as a regular commitment?

You would be responsible for:

  • Collecting food on a weekly basis
  • Delivering it to Lindley House
  • Occasionally returning empty crates to the donor

We need to feed 40 people three meals a day, and without these food donations we would struggle. If you don’t have a lot of time to spare but really want to help, we’d love to hear from you.

At Arc, we are not all the same. We come from all walks of life and a wide variety of backgrounds. We draw on these differences in who we are, what we’ve experienced, and how we think to create services that work for everyone. We celebrate the diverse and inclusive community that is Arc, empowering clients, staff, and volunteers to connect, belong, and grow. We house, support, and enable homeless people to maximise their potential.
