Overview
We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in The Shires & Avon counties. You will be part of a compassionate team committed to patient well‑being. Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Collaborate with the hospital’s Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT).
What you’ll bring to the role
Ideally you hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field, with experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing effective interventions for individuals with challenging behaviours. You have a background in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, a solid understanding of relevant legal frameworks and the ability to work in demanding situations. Strong leadership, communication, and report‑writing skills are essential, along with experience delivering PBS training and reducing restrictive practices. A full driver’s licence and a vehicle for business use are also required.
