Vehicle Settlement Handler

Salary: £23,000 – £26,000

Location: Sussex

Barker Munro Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Settlement Handler. In this role, you will collaborate with the engineering team and be responsible for the valuation and settlement of vehicles that have been deemed beyond economical repair or have been stolen and unrecovered.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that claims are settled in the most appropriate manner by engaging with the customer to establish a correct market position for the vehicle, utilizing vehicle valuation guides along with extensive market research.

We are looking for candidates with a general knowledge and interest in motor vehicles and/or an understanding of insurance practices. This role may suit someone from an engineering or body shop background with an understanding of insurance or a Motor Claims Handler with a keen interest in motor vehicles.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships with ease. We seek applicants who can work in a busy atmosphere and who are self-motivated and positive.
