You are ACA qualified or equivalent, bringing deep expertise in external audit, financial reporting, and compliance regulation. You have a passion for helping clients enhance their compliance processes through in-depth, high-quality audit file reviews, and you are eager to contribute to our mission of supporting over 8,000 accountancy firms across the UK.

As our File Reviewer you will be responsible for performing rigorous, objective file reviews to help accountancy firms adhere to regulatory standards. In addition to reviewing, you will collaborate with our Product team to share technical insights, support product development decisions, and help integrate client-focused solutions across Sales and Marketing.
As our File Reviewer, you will:
- Be responsible for performing high quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.
- Undertake those reviews in the medium and location as has been determined to best suit the client and achieve Mercia's strategic direction.
- Work closely with and support our Product team, contributing to the technical, client and competitor intelligence used to make Product decisions and liaising with the Product Director and Managers when updating or creating a product to ensure that client needs are met.
- Be a brand advocate for Mercia.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues effectively
- Project management and organizational skills
- Experience reviewing audit files or compliance work (preferable)
