Our client, a successful medium-sized commercial law firm, requires a legal secretary for a 9-month maternity contract. They are not overly concerned about what area of law you have experience in, as long as you have at least 12 months' experience as a legal secretary and can commit for the duration of the contract.
Expected duties include:
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing monthly bills
- Creating and editing documents
- Arranging meetings – internal and external
- Arranging conference calls
- Travel management and organization
Training on their systems will be provided, but it is imperative you have excellent IT skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a legal background who is interested in branching out and gaining experience in corporate/commercial work.
