Role

The Connected Services portfolio is here to enable seamless new customer experiences across all of our iconic brands. Here's what to expect in the role:

  • Lead a cross-functional delivery portfolio end to end, delivered by our onshore and offshore network, including Tata Group Companies, 3rd party Partners, and Consultancies.
  • Champion Agile, DevOps, and Product delivery with an 'as-a-product' mindset, collaborating across engineering, product, and leadership teams while serving as a cultural architect who drives execution, removes impediments, manages risks and dependencies, and fosters continuous improvement.
  • Establish and implement best-in-class delivery operations, scalable processes for global value delivery, and structured planning across all timeframes to ensure standardisation and operational excellence.
  • Drive strategic IDT Engineering enablement for Connected Services Digital work streams, ensuring leadership excellence, enterprise awareness, and seamless alignment across multiple scrum teams while iterating towards a high-functioning, domain-aligned structure.
  • Lead and optimize the IDT Engineering Delivery strategy by managing a multidisciplinary Product Family of 40+ experts, driving structured execution, financial governance, RAID resolution, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.
  • As part of the IDT Engineering leadership team, you will also participate in the ongoing running and development of the function, including leadership, resourcing, recruiting, mentoring people and line management.

What You'll Need

  • Extensive experience in working on large-scale, multi-team, multi-vendor agile delivery background with multi-million-pound budgets.
  • Solid industry leading experience and working examples of implementing effective delivery methods at scale and empirically improving them via continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning large development programs across multiple teams and projects at one time.
  • Previous experience in transformation and delivery in an enterprise.
  • Comprehensive experience and understanding on Agile with experience in influencing, coaching and mentoring multiple, cross-functional agile teams.
  • A results-driven, resilient, and energetic leader who combines short-term pragmatism with long-term vision, thrives in complex and demanding environments, challenges thinking constructively, builds credibility and trust, communicates complex ideas effectively, fosters teamwork, and accelerates decision-making through alignment, clarity, and urgency.
