Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project health check assessments for joint venture projects and present outcomes to the project sponsor.
  • Review and monitor project performance; present results to the project team and sponsor.
  • Prepare reports analyzing project progress during development or execution stages.
  • Perform project risk analyses.
  • Manage the database for lessons learned across projects.
  • Support project teams with best practices in project oversight and control.
  • Provide consulting in project management areas such as economics, governance, organization setup, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
  • Assist in developing business plans, project feasibility studies, and technical development.
  • Analyze claims and advise on negotiation strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in project management, including 10 years in project control (planning, scheduling, and cost control).
  • PMP and PMI-SP certifications from PMI or equivalent.
  • Certification from AACEI or similar organization.
  • Experience with mega projects in refineries, petrochemicals, or infrastructure industries.
  • Experience in scope development, scheduling, and cost estimation.
  • Ability to develop benchmarking databases from a cost and industry perspective.
