ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
  2. Promote a high level of morale within department and store, utilizing friendly but professional methods of honest and open communication.
  3. At all times remember that our success will be dependent upon our ability to work together.
  4. Comply with all company policies, programs and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
  5. Continually strive to build knowledge and skills, both personally and within the department and store through training and education of self and other team members.
  6. Capable of pricing, dating, and wrapping or bagging of all bakery products in accordance with the department and store’s policies.
  7. Capable of recognizing the quality of and distinguishing between the many different bakery products.
  8. Capable of filling, arranging, rotating and merchandising displays and display cases within the Bakery Department.
  9. Price and code date all bakery products clearly and accurately.
  10. Receive special orders properly and use suggestive selling methods when possible.
  11. Maintain attractive and appealing cases and displays for increased sales. Maintain product quality and cost control to maximize sales and profits and minimize losses.
  12. Possess knowledge of bakery items, descriptions and ingredients so as to better serve our guests and answer any questions that might arise.
