Are you looking for an entry level road into finance to start your Accounting career? My client is a growing Accountancy Practice, based in Lancaster and are keen to grow their team with the addition of a Junior Accounts Assistant.
As Junior Accounts Assistant your duties will include:
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Input financial transactions into the accounting system.
- Update and maintain accounting records and files.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports as needed.
To be considered for this position the successful candidate will have:
- Relevant Degree (Maths, Economics, Business Studies) / A-Level or equivalent qualifications including GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or with some equivalent accountancy qualification or experience.
- IT proficient with MS Excel skills.
- A credible individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and able to show initiative.
