Job Description
Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team. The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
- As a Child and Family Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with children in need of help and protection or looked after children and care-leavers, whilst maintaining the focus on safeguarding.
- You will work directly with the child or young person and their family or carer to build empathic, purposeful relationships that facilitate meaningful and sustainable change, as well as stability in placement and permanency for children.
37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
3 month Temporary Contract at least.
Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.
The successful candidate will need to hold a Social Work Degree or equivalent, must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
