We are looking for experienced and ambitious PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician to join Arriva, based at our Luton Depot. As a PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA.

This role is working rotating shifts between 6am - 2.30pm / 2pm - 10.30pm with overtime availability at time and a half - providing Technicians the opportunity to earn £37.50p/h for overtime!
The role of a PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician will involve:
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability.
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks.
- Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).
Requirements of a PSV Mechanic / PSV Technician:
- Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation).
- Previous experience within a PSV or HGV environment.
- A full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
- Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
