We are supporting our client, a well-established and market-leading manufacturing company, to recruit a Maintenance Manager in South Tyneside.

About the Maintenance Manager role:
The Maintenance Manager will have responsibility for all aspects of engineering and maintenance on this fast-paced and forward-thinking manufacturing site. You will lead a multi-disciplined maintenance team to drive reliability and engineering excellence in all areas. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance/Engineering professional who feels now is the time to step into a role that you can really get your teeth stuck into and make your own.
We are looking for candidates for the Maintenance Manager with the following background:
- Engineering Qualification (Time served apprenticeship, HND or Degree)
- Previous experience or ability to lead a multi-disciplined Engineering/Maintenance function (Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation)
- Have worked in a highly regulated sector previously - FMCG, Petrochemical, Food, Manufacturing
- Management skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders at both a junior and senior level.
- Strong personality and comfortable in challenging the status quo.
