Do you want to work for a Nursery who looks after you as well as you do the children? We are a welcoming team, who offer you paid breaks, staff meetings, birthday day off, social events for the team, holiday accrual for the length of time you are employed at Little Minds. Little Minds in Tormarton (GL9 – 10 mins from Yate) are looking to recruit Early Years Educators to work in our Toddler unit (aged between 1-2 years). We are looking for those special candidates that want to train in an Early Years Environment. We are also interested in Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified staff and if you have current Baby unit experience that’s a bonus.

We are looking for someone to work between 20-40 hours a week all year round between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm. The starting rate of pay for Unqualified staff is between £19,000 - £25,200pa aged 21 years and over and dependent on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

  • You must have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special.
  • You must be able to laugh at jokes you don’t understand, or you don’t find funny!
  • You will preferably have a little bit of quirkiness. If a child requests that you be a captain of a pirate ship, you will be the best pirate captain you can be!
  • You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day.
  • Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one.
