Our client is a global manufacturer based in Newbury seeking an experienced Lean/CI Engineer to join their global team. You will be working directly on supporting transformation and daily management initiatives by taking ownership of ensuring strategies are implemented into the culture and processes related to the transformation. You will make improvement changes across various departments, including quality, delivery, inventory, margin expansion, culture, and safety.
You will collaborate with the senior global team to devise an improvement strategy and ensure timely delivery. You will also be responsible for delivering and providing ongoing training to facilitate change.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally, you will have similar experience within a manufacturing environment. A demonstrable background in implementing transformation is essential, with the ability to develop both short- and long-term strategies. Experience in delivering change and dealing with stakeholders at all levels, reporting on KPIs and progress, is also crucial. Personality-wise, you must be a self-starter with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of showing empathy. Experience in developing and delivering training programmes is required.
