The opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and commercial consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities/Role:- Work in a team of Commercial Managers and consultants, serving as a key member of the Consulting Team from management to consultant level in Sales & Delivery.
- Discuss customer requirements and advise on Oracleβs contracting process capabilities and limitations.
- Model pricing structures for products to align with customer budgets or sales efforts.
- Determine appropriate contracting methods.
- Draft contracts and process them through internal approvals.
- Draft nonstandard contracts, including contracts for Public Sector Customers via the G-Cloud Framework.
- Analyze information from sales teams to formulate recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare, deliver, and conduct training sessions for sales teams on business processes.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to guide deal modeling and contract drafting.
- Stay up-to-date with product/field advances and suggest improvements.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Experience with contracts and commercial processes in a sales environment.
- Understanding of pricing models and services contract structures.
- Experience with software automation for approvals and contract processing.
- Degree educated.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Effective team player, capable of remote communication.
