About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and creative content specialist to lead on the development of compelling digital content for Goldsmiths. This role plays a key part in delivering impactful student recruitment campaigns – including Open Days, programme launches, conversion, and Clearing – by creating engaging content across our primary marketing resource, the Goldsmiths website. With editorial oversight of the Study section, you’ll ensure content is accurate, accessible, and student-focused. You'll also support the production of emails, video content and printed materials, reporting on performance and collaborating with teams across the university.

You’ll have a sharp editorial eye, excellent writing skills, and a good grasp of accessibility, SEO, and user experience principles. Comfortable managing multiple projects, you’ll be proactive and detail-oriented – able to lead on updates to key web content and support wider campaign delivery. Ideally, you’ll bring experience of working in higher education or a similarly complex organisation, with a strong understanding of prospective student audiences and a passion for creating content that drives engagement and action.

Benefits

We have generous benefits – an agile working environment, 28 days’ annual leave plus 6 paid closure days (4 at Christmas and 2 at Easter) plus all Bank Holidays, great transport links, a defined benefit pension scheme, support for professional development and a broad range of wellbeing initiatives such as staff choir, running club and creative writing classes.
