Project Engineer - Water

Your new company You will be joining a main contractor operating in the water sector. This high-profile organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer to join their team. Your new role As Project Engineer, you will be based in the Devonshire area and be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers Maintaining good client relationships at all levels Monitoring subcontract performance Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports. What you’ll need to succeed In order to be successful, you must have: Basic engineering background (mechanical and/or electrical) Working knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE conditions of contract Knowledge of CDM and health and safety A full UK driving licence.
