We are looking for a dependable and dedicated Kitchen Assistant who is seeking a rewarding job within one of our care homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the cook with a high standard of food preparation whilst maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
This is a permanent role working a Relief contract of flexible hours per week.

Where you will be working: Ty Penrhos Care Home in Caerphilly is a large 83 bed home providing a modern, homely setting for older people needing EMI and residential care. The design of Ty Penrhos supports an environment that enables independence and choice within a comfortable and secure setting. The Care Home has been built to exacting standards and supports residents to maximize their independence.
Opportunities for development: We provide a range of learning and development opportunities to support you at every stage of your career. From technical training to leadership development, we have a range of programmes available for you. As part of this role, you will be required to complete a QCF Level 2 qualification, we will support you to do this and your training time will be paid.
