The role
We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic and data-driven marketing team. In this critical role, you’ll champion marketing data and analytical insights across CAVU’s global brand and client network, driving commercial marketing performance and deepening our understanding of customer behavior. You’ll be responsible for turning data into actionable recommendations to inform and improve our overall marketing strategy, directly contributing to our ambitious growth goals.
Role Responsibilities
- Data Insight & Analysis: Provide valuable, detailed, and actionable insights from large marketing datasets, focusing on paid and organic campaign performance, customer retention, and personalization.
- Reporting & Automation: Maintain and enhance reporting suites for the performance marketing team, utilizing tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, and Power BI. Automate dashboards and reports to streamline delivery.
- Marketing Strategy Support: Deliver data-backed recommendations to inform overall marketing strategy, presenting findings to senior stakeholders to drive decision-making.
- Collaboration: Partner with e-commerce and marketing teams to identify optimization opportunities within digital marketing campaigns. Build a holistic view of marketing mix performance by integrating insights across the business.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Serve as the team’s go-to person for marketing data queries, managing and prioritizing requests based on business requirements.
About you:
To excel in this role, you’ll bring a mix of technical expertise, marketing acumen, and a data-driven mindset:
- Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Data/Marketing Analyst working with large datasets. Proficient with data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI). Experience with SQL (preferable) and advanced Excel. Familiarity with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, including reporting and BigQuery integration.
- Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize insights from diverse data sources. Strong knowledge of performance marketing and campaign strategies (PPC, SEO, and customer marketing). Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex data into actionable insights for varied audiences.
- Tools & Technology: Experience with marketing data hubs (e.g., Funnel.io) is a bonus. Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and related tools. Evidence of successfully meeting or exceeding set KPIs and commercial targets.
- Personal Attributes: Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborative team player with a solution-oriented approach.
