Position

  • Location: Remote based - with occasional learner observations in the North West
  • Salary: Up to £32,000 (Level 4/5 delivery HSC) plus performance-related bonuses

We are proud to expand our team of HSC professionals and are looking to recruit energised, engaging, and experienced Personal Tutors to provide an outstanding experience for learners undertaking their Health and Social Care 4 and 5 qualifications.

As a PT, you will support a caseload of learners with progressive visits, observations, and provide outstanding teaching and learning to enhance the knowledge and teaching our learners receive from our recently introduced Elevate programme. You will use our sophisticated LMS system BUD to monitor your learners' progress and collaborate with our Learning Support for any learners who require Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging, motivating, and inspiring learners to achieve their work-based qualification.
  • Providing innovative and impactful teaching and learning.
  • Managing a minimum funded diverse caseload of learners across HSC levels 4-5.
  • Delivering an outstanding experience for all learners and employers.
  • Stretching and challenging your learners to succeed and reach their potential.
  • Providing valuable and insightful feedback to every learner.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with our employer partners.
  • Championing and encouraging the use of Elevate Workshops.
  • Driving progression through impactful visits.
  • Providing detailed feedback to learners and employers following review meetings or observations.
  • Adhering to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures.

If you have experience supporting learners by delivering innovative, impactful, and engaging remote sessions, with a strong background in the Health and Social Care Sector at a senior or managerial level, with the ability to stretch and challenge your learners, apply now!

Requirements

  • Minimum of Level 3 Assessor (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
  • Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS).
  • Level 5 qualifications within the Health & Social Care sector.
  • Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Experience of managing a diverse caseload.
  • Knowledge and experience of EPA.
  • Access to a car and able to travel for in-person learner observations, 1:1s, and team meetings.
