Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Latent Defects Claims Handler to manage and process claims related to structural defects in properties. This role involves assessing claims, coordinating inspections, liaising with policyholders, insurers, surveyors, and contractors, and ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with policy terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process latent defect claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms.
• Coordinate site inspections and liaise with surveyors to assess reported defects.
• Evaluate reports and determine liability based on policy coverage.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, contractors, and insurers to progress claims.
• Obtain and review quotes for remedial works, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Handle queries professionally, ensuring high customer service standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience (Full training will be provided for the right candidate):

• Experience in claims handling, preferably in latent defects, construction, or insurance.
• Strong understanding of building structures, warranties, and policy coverage.
• Proficiency in claims management systems.
