Protection Specialist

Overview

Protection Specialist in our Investments & Pensions team within Private Wealth at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP. This is a brand new role, focused on providing advice on financial protection policies for a range of clients, including high net worth individuals. The team is based in Newcastle with consideration for a Leeds office or flexible/part-time hours.

The Team

Our Private Wealth team is a collaboration of lawyers, accountants, financial advisors and tax specialists. They provide creative financial planning, legal and tax solutions and investment advice to private clients.

The Role

You will work directly with clients, applying strong knowledge of protection products and provider offerings. Your work will be focused on financial protection policy advice, with scope to contribute to the development and implementation of key responsibilities, systems and procedures. You will not be required to generate leads unless you choose to.

You may also assist our team of Financial Advisors with Inheritance Tax planning strategies for a wide range of high net worth clients.

Location: Newcastle (primary) with Leeds as an alternative; full-time preferred, part-time considered.

What we are looking for

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• 5 years’ experience in the life insurance market, with strong knowledge of product types and provider offerings
• Experience handling high-value cases for Whole of Life, Term Assurance and Gift Inter Vivos policies
