Tax Manager

We’re looking for a Tax Manager with a wealth of tax experience within UK practice. You’ll be adept at managing a diverse portfolio that mainly consists of private clients, with a keen focus on advisory work and report writing. Plus, you’ll have a strong technical tax skillset, with the ability to build enhanced relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Job Purpose:

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, with a focus on advisory work and report writing
• Provide tax advisory services in support of the Tax Partner, maximising fee income
• Review tax work completed by junior staff, including quality control and constructive feedback
• Draft detailed reports to provide accurate and comprehensive advice to clients
• Monitor team performance, identifying knowledge gaps and providing training as needed
• Work directly with Directors and Partners to ensure deadlines and fee recovery targets are met
• Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
• Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team

What are we looking for?

• ATT or CTA qualified, part qualified or studying
• Qualified by experience also considered
• A proven track record in private client tax advisory services
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in writing reports
• Excellent team management skills
