Responsible for:

  • Providing efficient, consistent and accurate warehousing service for Bioscience and Diagnostic commercial divisions.

Main tasks and duties:

  • To ensure that all pharmaceutical work completed meets full Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
  • To receive and check goods inwards, correctly store, accurately process and despatch all product categories.
  • To process NIBSC plasma pool and batch samples in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • To be available for any out-of-hours working/call outs.
  • To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
  • To understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems.
  • To ensure in the absence of the Warehouse Manager that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state and in accordance with GDP.
  • To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience in working within a warehouse environment.
  • Using IT systems and databases.
  • High levels of IT literacy.
  • Understanding of GDP.
  • Ability to prioritise.
  • Fork-lift truck driving experience an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Bioscience and Diagnostic industry an advantage.

Time commitment:

  • Travel may be required for training/to meet reasonable business needs.
  • 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes.
