Responsible for:
- Providing efficient, consistent and accurate warehousing service for Bioscience and Diagnostic commercial divisions.
Main tasks and duties:
- To ensure that all pharmaceutical work completed meets full Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- To receive and check goods inwards, correctly store, accurately process and despatch all product categories.
- To process NIBSC plasma pool and batch samples in an accurate and timely fashion.
- To be available for any out-of-hours working/call outs.
- To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
- To understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems.
- To ensure in the absence of the Warehouse Manager that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state and in accordance with GDP.
- To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in working within a warehouse environment.
- Using IT systems and databases.
- High levels of IT literacy.
- Understanding of GDP.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Fork-lift truck driving experience an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Bioscience and Diagnostic industry an advantage.
Time commitment:
- Travel may be required for training/to meet reasonable business needs.
- 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes.
